OUR STORY
When we purchased the vineyard in 2024, we were moved by its beauty and the deep sense of community that surrounds it. For both of us, California has always felt like home. The vineyard became a way to reconnect with that
feeling and to grow our roots back in a place we love. We named it after the street Virginia grew up on in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Virginia first moved to California in the late 1970s, and Jennifer was born there and spent her early years in the state. Although we currently live out of state, this vineyard allows us to stay closely connected to California’s landscape and represents our long-term goal of returning.
With backgrounds in law (Virginia) and finance (Jennifer), this project has become a mother-daughter opportunity to combine our strengths and create something meaningful. We envision an inviting event space where colleagues, friends, and family can gather, connect, and celebrate.
The vineyard itself was planted in 2000 and is rooted in sustainable farming, respect for the land, and the relationships that make this region so special; from growers and winemakers to neighbors and lifelong friends. For more than 25 years, it has produced expressive, high-quality Syrah grapes shaped by the region’s volcanic soils and mountain-cooled climate.
We believe exceptional wine begins with strong relationships, shared values, and the care of many hands. We’re honored to continue the vineyard’s legacy and look forward to the seasons ahead.
Most of all, we’re excited to blend our love of family, wine, and the California landscape. We are committed to nurturing this vineyard and helping it remain a place where community, connection, and good wine come together.
